For those crashing out, and unable/unwilling to understand the Trump Administration's rationale here:

Over the past 125 years, the British Empire has maintained a strategic stranglehold on the Middle East through a calculated policy of geopolitical and financial destabilization. Operating on the imperial maxim of geopolitics and "divide and rule," British policymakers have systematically manipulated religious and ethnic tensions to prevent the emergence of sovereign, industrialized nation-states in the region.

A primary mechanism for this destabilization was the artificial redrawing of Middle Eastern borders following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. Through the secret Sykes-Picot Accord and the subsequent Treaty of Sèvres, the British and French carved up the region into colonial mandates, ensuring that countries like Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine were designed with built-in ethnic and religious conflicts. To manage this volatile arrangement, British intelligence utilized operatives like T.E. Lawrence and Aubrey Herbert as specialists to steer diverse Middle Eastern proxy movements and keep the region in a "chronic state of shipwreck". The creation of modern Middle Eastern borders and states was intended to serve as a perpetual irritant, keeping local populations at each other's throats as pawns in a much larger imperial game.

Iran, historically known as Persia, has been a central target of these British imperial designs. As early as 1907, King Edward VII orchestrated the Anglo-Russian Entente, which explicitly divided Iran into spheres of influence and neutralized its autonomy to check rival powers. Financial warfare was weaponized alongside diplomacy; for instance, in 1911, the British issued a major loan to Persia using the nation's own opium revenues as collateral, effectively hooking the state into colonial debt. The British oligarchy also maintained control over Iran's vast resources through allied institutions like the British Bank of the Middle East.

Following World War II, the British desperately sought to retain their grip on Middle Eastern oil reserves to underwrite their financial empire. When figures like Italian leader Enrico Mattei attempted to negotiate fair, independent energy deals with Middle Eastern nations, including Iran, the British Foreign Office viewed him as a mortal threat to their colonial relationships and oil control. Mattei was ultimately assassinated in a plot with heavy British fingerprints.

Today, the enduring conflicts in the Middle East, including the hostility between Iran and Israel, are direct outgrowths of this old European strategy of divide and rule. Modern globalist factions, aligned with British banking and intelligence networks, have continued to stoke these proxy wars to prevent Eurasian economic integration. By hyping threats like the "Shia Crescent" and weaponizing sanctions, these forces aim to keep Iran isolated and the region chaotic. The perpetual threat of Iranian nuclear enrichment has served as a convenient "bogeyman" to justify endless intervention and keep the military-industrial complex funded.

The British and their allies understand that if major regional powers were allowed to stabilize and independently develop their oil and infrastructure—such as the massive rail and energy corridors currently being built by Russia and China through Iran—the City of London's financial control over global energy markets would collapse.

End British meddling, restore order to the region. https://x.com/observerfiles/status/2027899224138912044?s=20

More Leftie Than Thou
"Jacobin" Magazine Celebrates A Strike Against Ol' Blue Eyes

Here at "The Gaggle" we have very little time for the "more Leftie than thou" school of thought--that's the approach to life according to which the only thing that matters is whether you take the right position on every issue under the sun from Abortion to Zelensky. No one in the world meets the exacting standards of this school of thought; any Leftie leader anywhere is always selling out to the bankers and the capitalists. The perfect exemplar of this is the unreadable Jacobin magazine.

The other day I came across this article from 2021. It's a celebration of trade union power. And not simply trade union power, but the use of trade union power to secure political goals. Of course (and this is always the case with the "more Leftie than thou" crowd), this glorious, never-to-be-forgotten moment on the history of organized labor took place many years ago--in the summer of 1974 to be exact. Yes, almost half a century has gone by since that thrilling moment when the working-class movement of Australia mobilized and prepared to seize the means of production, distribution and exchange.

Well, not quite. Organized labor went into action against...Ol' Blue Eyes, the Chairman of the Board, the Voice; yes, Frank Sinatra. Why? What had Sinatra done? Sinatra was certainly very rich, and he owned a variety of properties and businesses. But if the Australian trade union movement were, understandably, searching for the bright, incandescent spark that would finally awaken the working class from its slumber there were surely richer, greedier, more dishonest, more decadent, above all more Australian individuals it could have discovered. Australia was never short of them. Rupert Murdoch immediately springs to mind. Why Sinatra?
