President Donald J. Trump has accused those leaking information about U.S. weapons stockpiles of making "treasonous statements," warning that "long-term jail sentences will be sought!"

The comments appear to be a response to recent reporting by multiple media outlets regarding potential shortages of certain U.S. precision-guided munitions following their use in Operations Epic Fury and Rough Rider in addition to the defense of Israel during the 12-Day War.

In the same Truth Social post, President Trump rejected the reports, stating that the United States has "massive amounts of munitions, especially of certain types," and added that "large amounts are being manufactured and shipped to the U.S. as needed."

The Israel Defense Force (IDF) has confirmed it carried out operations in southern Lebanon in response to an attack on an Israeli position by Hezbollah yesterday.

Reports are emerging of a significant Houthi assault on the Saudi backed Yemen Emergency Forces encampment near Marib, Yemen with several casualties reported. This video purports to show the aftermath of one of the attacks, though it has not been verified.

Marib is the internationally recognized Yemeni government's last major stronghold in northern Yemen and is home to critical oil and gas infrastructure. Saudi Arabia has supported government forces there for years to prevent the Houthis from consolidating control over northern Yemen.

anyone know why Japan doesn't just sell their USTs and move to using the BRICS UNIT & mBridge instead? https://x.com/SantiagoAuFund/status/2085406517864395157?s=20

There is NO substitute for the greenback on the global market and there ain't gonna be one for a long time, no matter what worms like shithead escobar tell you...

It is to protect the entire global system. If 10-30 year UST yields jump to high single digits it will hit emergent and developing markets harder than anyone. The US can print the chips needed for the blinds required to participate in the global game. No one else can…

Make no mistake. The US Treasury teaming up with the Bank of Japan is not to merely "help the yen or other Asian currencies." It is to protect US Treasuries. Why? Because if the BoJ is left to stabilize and support the yen themselves, they will have little choice but to sell US

More Leftie Than Thou
"Jacobin" Magazine Celebrates A Strike Against Ol' Blue Eyes

Here at "The Gaggle" we have very little time for the "more Leftie than thou" school of thought--that's the approach to life according to which the only thing that matters is whether you take the right position on every issue under the sun from Abortion to Zelensky. No one in the world meets the exacting standards of this school of thought; any Leftie leader anywhere is always selling out to the bankers and the capitalists. The perfect exemplar of this is the unreadable Jacobin magazine.

The other day I came across this article from 2021. It's a celebration of trade union power. And not simply trade union power, but the use of trade union power to secure political goals. Of course (and this is always the case with the "more Leftie than thou" crowd), this glorious, never-to-be-forgotten moment on the history of organized labor took place many years ago--in the summer of 1974 to be exact. Yes, almost half a century has gone by since that thrilling moment when the working-class movement of Australia mobilized and prepared to seize the means of production, distribution and exchange.

Well, not quite. Organized labor went into action against...Ol' Blue Eyes, the Chairman of the Board, the Voice; yes, Frank Sinatra. Why? What had Sinatra done? Sinatra was certainly very rich, and he owned a variety of properties and businesses. But if the Australian trade union movement were, understandably, searching for the bright, incandescent spark that would finally awaken the working class from its slumber there were surely richer, greedier, more dishonest, more decadent, above all more Australian individuals it could have discovered. Australia was never short of them. Rupert Murdoch immediately springs to mind. Why Sinatra?
